We are really excited about getting married in August in a beautiful small church by Bassenthwaite Lake in Cumbria and have booked to hold our reception and evening celebrations at Armathwaite Hall Hotel.
Please find this as a formal invitation and micro-site that aims to include information we thought relevant to helping you be able to join us.
We also really need some information from you including your:
RSVP; preferred contact details; any food allergies or requirements; and if you want help with booking any accommodation in the area.
(We will be asking for specific food choices in April/May)

Accommodation
To help you with any accommodation needs, we have reserved blocks of rooms at 4 local hotels for Friday or/and Saturday nights (to reserve capacity, and avoid further UK price inflation).
We are unfortunately not able to pay for these ourselves but can transfer these bookings to you. Please note that the prior Monday is a bank holiday and it could, of course, be a great area and time for a mini break, at the end of the summer.
Please indicate within the RSVP section later on if you would like us to pass on any room bookings to you.
Transport
Travel direct to St Bega's church (via two fields off the B road connected to the A591)
For those staying the night before (recommended), shuttles will be provided to collect from hotels from 09:30 - 10:30
to the church ceremony (specific hotel target pick up times will be communicated in July/ August).
Drive through to Armathwaite Hall after the ceremony, or shuttles will be provided to the Hall from 12:30 (<10 mins away)
Following the reception, shuttles will be provided to run back to local hotels from
23:00 to 00:30.
